Contacts (optional)
If you tap “Find Friends,” Reelfellas asks for permission to read your phone’s contacts. We use this only to check which of your contacts are already on Reelfellas, so you can follow them. Only the phone numbers from your contacts are sent to our servers, and only to compare them with the phone numbers of Reelfellas members. We do not save your contacts or their phone numbers, and we do not share them with anyone. Contact names stay on your device. If we find a match, we show you that member’s public profile; we never reveal anyone’s phone number to others. Contacts access is optional. You can refuse it or turn it off in your phone’s settings, and the rest of the app will still work.
